In 2011 we burst onto the nightlife scene in Barnsley and what an amazing journey it’s been. Constantly reviewing and reinventing ourselves to stay relevant and on point, we never stand still.
Across our floors you’ll find a rooftop terrace, a main room for live acts and club nights, The Underground, and the Comedy Shop — a dedicated comedy club hosting regular stand-up shows. Artists as diverse as Billy Pearce and Crissy Rock through to Paul Tomkinson, Matt Richardson, and Tony Carroll have all graced the stage. The Underground is also available for private hire — perfect for parties, launches, or exclusive gatherings.
We’ve welcomed standout performers including Love Affair, Odyssey, Jaki Graham, Phil Fearon, Angelo Starr, Harry Cambridge, Milburn, K-Klass, Jeffrey Daniel of Shalamar, Darrell Smith, Eban Brown, SouLutions, Andrew Cushin, The Rosadocs, Sleaford Mods, Hazel Dean, Nathan Moore, and many more — plus guest DJs including Stephanie Hirst, Jon Jules, and Mike Vitti from Ronnie Scott’s. For touring artists, we’re a 200-capacity venue — equipped with a quality sound system, stage, green room, and sprung dance floor. Intimate enough for a real connection between artist and audience, with the Yorkshire hospitality to match. We look to venues like Pilgrim 54 in Newcastle and Ronnie Scott’s in London for inspiration.
